How it works
From a reel on your phone to a shoppable video on your store
DPShoppable installs from the Shopify App Store, adds itself to your theme as a block, and takes about five minutes to get live. Here is the whole process, start to finish.
Import your video
Connect Instagram, paste a YouTube or TikTok link, or drag in your own files. DPShoppable pulls the clip into your library and generates the thumbnail for you.
- Bring across a whole reel grid, not one clip at a time
- Upload MP4 or MOV from a shoot or a creator
- Clips live in one library, reusable across every layout
Your video library
Tag the products
Search your catalogue and pin products onto the clip. Shoppers tap the tag, choose a variant, and add to cart without ever leaving the player.
- Tag as many products as appear in the clip
- Variant and size picker pulled live from your catalogue
- Price and stock stay in sync with Shopify

Pick a layout and publish
Choose carousel, gallery, stories, product page or the floating player, drop the block into your theme from the Shopify editor, and hit save. No code, no developer.
- Theme app block — works in the native theme editor
- Place it on home, collection, or product pages
- Move or restyle it any time, nothing to redeploy
Shopify theme editor
Drag it where you want it, hit save, and it is live. Your theme files are never edited.
Placement
Where to put the widget
A layout is only as good as the page it sits on. This is the order most stores roll it out in.
Home page
Carousel or Stories
Catch people at the top of the visit and give them a reason to keep scrolling. A carousel under the hero banner is the single most common first placement.
Product page
Product page block
The shopper is already interested and stuck on a question — fit, size, texture, scale. Show only the clips tagged with that product and the question answers itself.
Collection page
Carousel
Break up a long grid of thumbnails with motion, and let a clip do the selling for a category that photographs badly.
A dedicated video page
Gallery
If you have a real volume of creator content, give it its own page and link it from the navigation. It becomes a browse destination in its own right.
Everywhere
Floating player
Maximum reach with no layout decisions. Good for a launch, a sale, or a single hero clip you want everyone to see.
Getting the most out of it
Six things that make a tagged clip convert
None of this is complicated, but it is the difference between video that decorates a page and video that sells from it.
Tag the moment the product is clearest on screen, not the first frame.
Tag every product that appears — an outfit is several sales, not one.
Keep the clip short. Under 30 seconds holds attention through the tag.
Lead with the product in motion. Video earns its place by showing what a photo cannot.
Use creator clips where trust matters and studio clips where detail matters.
Refresh the row when you post something new — a stale carousel stops earning taps.
Five minutes from here to a shoppable homepage.
Install the app, import one reel, tag one product, and drop the carousel under your hero banner. That is the whole first session.
